YMCA Principal says their set to open in Tororo

 

Plans are underway for the establishment of Young Men Christian Association [YMCA] college of business studies in Tororo town.

The dream was on Saturday confirmed by Lambert Okure the principal Jinja YMCA College of business studies during a planning meeting held at Amagoro B central village in Tororo municipality.

Okure said they were extremely excited to have a new branch opening in Tororo to provide holistic educational skills development to hundreds of youth who will benefit from it.

He challenged the main brain behind the initiative Paul Obbo to ensure that he registered more members from the current 23 to at least 200 have the branch opened by September this year.

Harriet Chandiru the project director said they are going to kick start with empowering of the members on hands on skills for sustainability purpose.

She tasked Obbo and his team to be creative by providing incentives and programs that are attractive to the youth if they are to grow fast.

Obbo called upon the public to come and register at a fee of sh 50,000 with the organizations so that they can kick start business for the betterment of the future generation.
