Our District is coming and Stella Imukutet is our first woman of parliament says Mr. Godfrey Otabongo

The chairman NRM District Executive Committee [DEC] Tororo County Political district Revealed this during celebration to thank Hon Angura Fredrick, Member of Parliament for Tororo County South at Amoni Primary school Ground for contesting again and for successfully leading the County in the last 10 years. 

Mr. Otabongo Godfrey thanked Hon Fredrick Angura for delivering the district to where it's today as a great leader and good soldier who learnt well from the elders and equally thanked Stella Imukutet for steering the district to the right direction during her time. 

Otabongo later disclosed that the DEC of NRM Tororo County had decided that when Mukujju district kicks off soon, they won’t suffer looking for the first female woman member of parliament since they have Hon Stella Imukutet for NRM flag-bearer. As he praised her, as a great fighter for “Akoit” right from her days in the Councils with other Councilors from Tororo County and their target is to make her the first ever female MP. He further referred to the former LC 5 Chairperson Hon Stella Imukutet as a tested and proven leader. 

Madam Stella Imukutet who took-over Political Leadership of Tororo District after the death of former Chairman Late Apollo Jaramogi who died barely a year after trouncing Mr. Emmanuel Osuna in a hotly Contest Election in the 2016 General Elections, Stella was full of joy and excitement as she was praised amidst cheers. 

Mr. Godfrey Otabongo further stressed that their district, Mukujju district is already here but was just delayed by enemies of Tororo County after failure to deliver the last council resolutions calling for the division to the Minister for local government Hon Raphael Magyezi on Time. 

He encouraged the celebrates at Amoni primary school ground to take their children schools to prepare for jobs since a new district comes with over ten thousand jobs both directly through staff recruitment s or indirectly through contracts by bidding for district contracts available. 

The Chairman DEC Tororo County, NRM Political district cautioned all NRM flag bearers in the county against in-fights saying “although someone was your enemy it was time to drop the hatred and campaign for the President Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM, since this time around after the coming of the District, Tororo County must vote and get 3 digits for the NRM that is 100 Percentage fur above the last results in the county of 87.4%"

Meanwhile Hon Fredrick Angura who was the chief guest and areas Member of Parliament, reminded every NRM flag-bearers and members of their responsibility to campaign for the President to ensure that NRM performs better in the count, he noted that no candidate on NRM Ticket will have their own Manifesto; since their Symbol is one, THE BUS. 

Hon Angura Fredrick disclosed that government had secured a loan of over 7 trillion Ugandan shillings from the world Bank for embarking on unfinished Government projects and later sampled a fews national and local projects which the NRM government has earmarked for further development like Angololo Irrigation Project in Angololo Parish, emphasize on the 4 acre model, growing of Cash crops with introduction of coffee and cocoa in the county, Emphasize on PDM in Parishes which have not got any money, and the money coming per Parish is 115 Million Shillings while for PDM Leaders who have been stealing some money from beneficiaries now have been catered for Per parish since every month they will get 15million shillings while at national level more roads while be done to add on the existing over 7000 square kilometers of road network across the country.

And further transforming the remaining few Ugandans into the money economy, improving health sector and transforming Uganda a middle income economy by 2040. The celebrations were attended by Regional Police Commander, Bukedi SSP Kapchemut Ayatollah, Bukedi Regional Criminal Intelligence Officer, NRM Candidate for Tororo County North constituency Hon Owino Simon Nicholas  and a delegation from the Iteso Cultural Institution, Father Michael Ojullo, and Chairman for Kwapa town council Mr. Francis Onyadi Local Council councilors among others.
