Dr.Tanga Odoi Host Prayers for Primary Seven candidates.

Students from 13 primaries schools in Tororo district attended a prayer of dedication in preparations for the forthcoming Primary Leaving Examinations on November 4th and 5Th beginning with mathematic paper.

The West Budama north archdeacon Rev. Nicholas Ochwo accompanied by Rev Ikaka Emmanuel a curate of Kisoko Parish, read from Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” prayed to God to bless Dr. Tanga Odoi with more wisdom and never allow is his enemies to devour him as he equally blessed the Primary Candidates to read well, have high retention ability and good memory during exams.
Rev Nicholas Ochwo further cautioned the candidates to desist from temptations of trying to cheat but should focus on writing the examination using the acquired knowledge.
Speaker after Speaker who included former Old boys and Girls of Kisoko Primary School, Politicians, Religious leaders from other denominations cautioned candidates against examination malpractices with words of inspiration and encouragement.
Primary seven candidates will be writing their paper on November 4th and 5Th starting with the mathematics.
Presiding over the blessing ceremony of candidates drawn from 13 primary school in Kisoko, Petta and Nyangole sub counties held in Koi Village Kisoko on Tuesday, Ochwo called upon the candidates to remain firm and committed to overcome the two days exercise.
The exercise primarily organized by the Dr Tanga Odoi an OB of Kisoko Primary School and hails from Kisoko Sub-County, was aimed at offering the candidates an inspirational lectures and picnic that prepares their brains to accomplish the task ahead of them.
Tanga said
the exercise was part of his routine gesture to inspire the learners to do
better after hearing from elders. He said ever since he started with the
option, there has been tremendous improvement in the performance in the recent
past.
Tanga called upon old boys and girls to give back to the schools that made them by way of giving a contribution to supplement the government intervention.
He said one
will not benefit a lot by having a lot of riches when one cannot help
institutions that gave them good directions.
The function was Equally attended by Akoth Angela Candidate for Tororo Woman Member of Parliament in the next general elections.
