NRM Tororo to choose the Next Tororo Municipal Council Executive

NRM LEADERSHIP TO CHOOSE THE NEXT TORORO MUNICIPAL COUNCIL EXECUTIVE The next Tororo Municipal Council executive for 2026 to 2031 will be debated and decided upon by the NRM Tororo district executive and not the Mayor as it has always been all these past years.

This was disclosed by Hon Yeri Apollo Ofwono the chairman NRM Tororo District who doubles as MP Tororo Municipality and flag bearer to NRM Councilors and flag bearers for Tororo Municipality during a heated meeting at Sandra Apartment in Aragorn A North owned by business the Mr. Sam Omuga a businessman and Politician. Hon Yeri Apollo disowned the setting Mayor His worship Kenneth Orono Nyapidi as not their own since he won as an independent and not NRM leaning which forms the bases for not interfering in how political Management is done at the council. 

 
The Area Member of Parliament equally cautioned Mr.Bernard Ochieng the Station Manager East fm and NRM flag bearer for Tororo municipality Mayoral Race in the next 2026 General elections against the group he keeps around himself. He said if the so called "power brokers" he keeps around himself where of any importance, 

They would contest to prove their worth to make a point but described them as failures and money minded people and unclean to call him corrupt, since their un-informed about resource allocation at the municipal council, if he is to see light in the next general election. 

Speaking the Same meeting Mr.Diope Amos the councilor for Central ward local Council 4 cautioned fellow councilors against corruption and called for honesty if the team Yeri group is to stay intact and win in the forthcoming elections Meanwhile The NRM chairman Tororo Municipality Mr. Sam Omuga called upon the entire NRM fraternity in Tororo district to join Hon Yeri and escort him for his nomination on tuesday.
