East FM Station Manager Advocates for Vocational among the youth.

The Station Manager of East 1002.fm, Mr. Bernard Ochieng and NRM flag-bearer for the Mayoral Seat Tororo Municipality has advocated for vocational training among the youthful population of this country especially in Tororo Municipality as we head towards a city Status soon.

Speaking to this blog in an interview Bernard Ochieng aka Oben by his radio trademark, advised the youth in Tororo Municipality to embrace skilling in-order to earn better in the Uganda of today and they won't regret. Oben equally a morning show presenter made these remarks at East fm Premises at the station Prepares to Celebrate 10years of excellent broadcasting to the great region of Bukedi and online for their listeners within and abroad.  

Mr. Bernard Ochieng, suggested that the enrollment in the courses like carpentry and joinery, welding, hair dressing, and mechanics as the best options one can pursue for self employment to improve and adapt to the ever changing employment patterns in this country with pronounced unemployment among the youth.

Ochieng(Oben) emphasized that "white color jobs" are apparently scarse  in the country, hence the option for skilling through vocational training is the best solution for the young, now that the government has constructed a number of industrial Parks across the country.
