Ambassador Oundo cautions Bukedi against selfishness, greed

Ambassador Babra Nekesa Oundo the NRM party national treasurer cautioned Bakedi to desist the habit of selfishness and greed but unit as a formidable force to mobilize support for president Museveni and party flag bearers.

She said the NRM party and President Yoweri Museveni are the only answers to the country's peace, stability and progress not like those who look like drama actors.

 The appeal was made on Tuesday afternoon by Hon. Amb. Barbra Nekesa Oundo, the NRM Party's National treasurer while meeting the Tororo Municipality NRM flag bearers and structural leaders at Sierra Caves Resort Limited along Malaba road in Tororo Municipality. 



 The meeting was in preparation for the President's campaign trail visit of the sub-region that started with Palisa and Butebo on Wednesday.

 "We are going to elections; let us not allow ourselves to be led by people with ill motives of leading our country into chaos. This country has gone through a lot of chaos previously that witnessed several presidents in the shortest time possible coming in and going out. But President Museveni came and put an end to all these messes. Please, let's not take this for granted but rather protect the gains jealously" Amb. Oundo explained.

 She however challenged the people of Bukedi to rise above the occasion and heavily mobilize people from all the corners of the region to attend the President's campaign rally so that the numbers could be converted into votes come 15th/January 2026.


"The people of Tororo, you must lead by example the rest of Bukedi as our mother. We need to score over 80% for the President in the coming elections. we need to move as a team, come up in large numbers and vote for all flag bearers. we need to go back to our villages as taskforces and talk to our people. NRM remains the only alternative" she asserted.

 She said they have a duty to mobilize people to retain power arguing that it will be very disappointing to all of them if they fail to massively mobilize for the President to win.

 Amb. Oundo Appealed to independent candidates vying against the NRM party candidates to step down or get defeated in the general elections.
