NRM Leaning Candidate for West Budama South,Parliamentary Seat Hon Solomon Oketcho Lony

The West Budama South Constituency Independent Candidate and NRM leaning Hon Solomon Oketcho Lony  has gift 516 Primary Seven candidates from seven schools in West Budama South  with mathematical sets and Pens ahead of the Primary Leaving Examinations next week on 3rd and 4th November 2025.

The 516 Primary Seven Leaving Candidates where drawn from Rubongi Army Primary School, Kidera Primary school, Agola Primary school, Achilet Primary school, Panyangas Primary school, Agwait Primary school and Mudodo Primary Schools.

While handing over the donation to the candidates on Friday 31st October 2025 the day of P.7 Briefing, The campaign manager for Solomon Oketcho Lony Mr.Ernest Chombo  noted that this marks the beginning of his journey to supporting education in the constituency after the next Parliamentary Elections in 2026.

Speaking on behalf of Oketcho Solomon his agent said  the support is not politically motivated but aimed at promoting education in both government and private schools. 

He further added that his goal is to ease the burden on parents and boost learners’ confidence by ensuring they have all the necessary materials for their final exams.and urged candidates to remain disciplined and trust in what they have learned as they prepare for their final examinations.

Delivering his speech on behalf of the head teachers, Mr. Amos Agwapus of St. Teresa Achilet Primary School thanked Mr.Solomon Oketcho Lony for his continued support, noting that many pupils from humble backgrounds would have struggled to afford mathematical sets.

They appreciated the initiative, saying it eases the financial burden on parents and motivates learners to perform better.

Asinde Mary Immaculate a candidates expressed gratitude for the donation, equally observing the relief the support caused to the candidates since they don't have to worry about examinations materials and pledged to work hard to produce excellent results.
